Structural Steel Erection
Our ironworkers and rigging teams erect complex steel assemblies in active plant environments — maintaining production uptime while meeting tight outage windows and stringent QA requirements.
IronPeak manages the full steel erection lifecycle: material receiving and staging, crane pick planning, bolt-up and welding, decking installation, and final alignment surveys. Our field engineers work directly with fabricators to resolve RFIs before they reach the jobsite.
We maintain dedicated rigging crews certified for critical lifts in confined plant layouts, including tandem crane operations and engineered lift plans reviewed by third-party PEs.
Erecting steel inside operating facilities demands more than crane capacity — it requires meticulous planning around live utilities, process lines, and restricted access zones. IronPeak's pre-task plans address every lift sequence, exclusion zone, and communication protocol before the first beam leaves the ground.
Our superintendents average 18 years in industrial construction, with documented experience on refinery, LNG, pulp & paper, and automotive assembly projects.
Industrial Plant Construction
We construct the buildings and supporting infrastructure that house production equipment — coordinating civil, structural, and building envelope scopes under a single field leadership team.
IronPeak delivers complete industrial building packages: site preparation, foundations, structural steel, metal building systems, roofing, cladding, and interior concrete works. Our project teams interface with equipment vendors and process engineers to ensure floor loads, crane capacities, and utility penetrations align with operational requirements.
Whether expanding an existing line or constructing a greenfield facility, we structure contracts to match owner risk tolerance — from guaranteed maximum price to target-cost with shared savings.
Heavy Civil Works
Industrial projects begin below grade. IronPeak's civil division handles the earthwork, drainage, and concrete foundations that anchor steel structures and process equipment across challenging terrain.
Mass excavation, cut-and-fill balancing, geogrid stabilization, stormwater management, and permanent haul road construction for remote mining and energy sites. Our fleet includes articulated haul trucks, dozers, and motor graders operated by MSHA-aware crews.
Access roads, laydown yards, and support facilities in active mining districts.
Equipment pads, cable trenches, and containment structures for power projects.
Spread footings, mat foundations, pile caps, equipment pedestals, and containment structures designed for dynamic loads from compressors, turbines, and heavy machinery. Self-perform concrete placement with internal QC testing.
Markets We Serve
IronPeak's project history spans the industrial sectors that demand the highest standards for safety, schedule reliability, and technical execution.
Natural gas peaker plants, solar farm substations, biomass facilities, and LNG infrastructure support structures across the Southeast power grid.
Processing plant structures, conveyor galleries, stockpile covers, and maintenance facilities at active extraction and beneficiation sites.
Automotive tier suppliers, food processing plants, advanced materials facilities, and distribution centers requiring high-bay clear spans.

Safety & Quality
On industrial sites where a single incident can halt production and endanger lives, IronPeak maintains a safety culture backed by metrics, training, and independent verification.
Our safety program exceeds OSHA requirements with site-specific plans, behavioral observation programs, and stop-work authority granted to every employee regardless of title. Quality assurance integrates with erection sequencing — bolt tension verification, weld inspection hold points, and survey checks at each tier.
"IronPeak delivered our pipe rack erection three days ahead of a hard outage deadline. Their rigging plan was textbook, and the field leadership communicated proactively at every shift change."— VP of Construction, Southeast Independent Power Producer
